Hi, I’m Matthew, the owner and craftsman behind Matthew Paul Handyman. For me, it’s not just about fixing what’s broken—it’s about creating spaces that inspire, enhance, and elevate the way people live. I bring a unique blend of skills and values to every project, all grounded in my background and a passion for exceptional craftsmanship.

As a former Marine, I had the privilege of serving my country, gaining invaluable insights into the importance of discipline, precision, and a commitment to excellence. Those same principles of military exceptionalism shape the way I approach every job—whether it’s a small repair or a large renovation. I don’t cut corners, and I always strive to exceed expectations. I am driven by a mission critical mindset.

I’m also a proud family man, blessed with a wonderful wife and three daughters. Family means everything to me, and I understand how important it is to create spaces that are not only functional but safe, beautiful, and meaningful. This leads me to regularly consider who I am doing the work for while I am working, and to consistently review my work throughout the process.

I have also studied landscape architecture at Temple University, which gave me a deep understanding of design principles that go far beyond the typical handyman’s skill set. I’m not just a carpenter—I’m a designer with the ability to transform spaces. I’m here to make it happen with a relentless approach to both quality and customer experience.
